First Cut Brisket is THE roast of choice for many of our customers holiday and shabbat tables. It's lean, but very flavorful, and when braised gently (keep the lid on tight) you'll find it moist and tender, never dry. If you think you don't like first cut brisket, you haven't tried a Grow & Behold kosher first cut brisket! FAT CAP Briskets have a 1/4" layer of fat to baste the roast as it cooks. Our Black Angus cattle are bred for tenderness and raised in the US on pasture with no hormones or antibiotics.
