Half Turkey Organic Fed

Each piece of meat is hand-cut to bring you the optimal flavor in every ounce
so we list an approximate weight for each item and then calculate the final price once
we fulfill your order. Our butchers make sure to select cuts that are within 15%
of the weight estimate and only charge your credit card based on the actual weight
- The price you see at checkout is the price you'll be charged.
- The actual weight of each piece may vary
- We work to minimize that variance, which comes from natural differences in animal size.
When you check out the reviews for this product and our Whole Turkey, you'll see how much our customers love the rich flavor, juicy texture and overall experience of our pasture-raised kosher turkeys. All our birds are raised in small batches by a network of dedicated Amish and Mennonite growers, who move them daily to fresh pastures where they roam and forage freely. Our turkeys eat only GMO-free grain, never any hormones, antibiotics or animal by-products. This half turkey is about as easy to cook as roasting a whole chicken, and can take just about the same time. Consider cooking a half turkey if your whole turkey isn't big enough to feed your Thanksgiving crew, or just making it for a special dinner throughout the year -- you'll ask yourself why you always wait until November to enjoy this delicious, lean, healthy and flavorful meat. After roasting the bird, use the carcass and bones to make a flavorful stock or soup.
Remember! Pastured turkey will still be pink when cooked. Use a thermometer and cook to 165F.
- Oven/Roast: Roast at 325F, or smoke. Allow 10 min per pound and use a meat thermometer -- the flesh may still look "pink" but if the temperature is 165F and juices run clear, your bird is cooked. Read more: How To Cook a Half Turkey
- Smoker: Adjust vents to keep smoker temperature between 275-325F. Smoke 2-3 hours. Learn more
