Darom by Grow & Behold – FAQ
What is Darom by Grow & Behold?
Darom is our imported beef line, developed to expand supply while still meeting the standards we stand behind at Grow & Behold.
Why did Grow & Behold create Darom?
Demand for high-quality kosher beef continues to grow, and Darom allows us to responsibly supplement our domestic supply with carefully sourced imported beef.
Where is Darom beef sourced from?
Darom beef comes from a single family-run farm in Argentina with strong animal welfare practices and a deep tradition of cattle ranching.
How does Darom compare to Grow & Behold’s American beef?
Darom is flavorful, well-raised beef, but it is not positioned as a replacement for our American-raised Grow & Behold line. It’s a different option, at a different value point.
What kosher certification does Darom hold?
Darom is fully Glatt Kosher and processed under strict kosher supervision of Star-K, just like all Grow & Behold products. In addition Darom holds a Chassidish Scheta hasgacha from Rabbi Steinmetz in Monsey.
Why is Darom priced lower?
Imported beef allows us to offer a more accessible price point.
Will you be adding additional Darom cuts in the future?
Not yet. This initial release is limited by design. We’ll re-evaluate additional cuts based on customer demand, feedback, and overall performance of this first run.
Will Darom replace Grow & Behold beef?
No. Our commitment to premium American-raised beef remains unchanged. Darom exists to complement, not replace our core offering.
We’d love your feedback.
This line exists because of our community. Your input will directly shape whether and how Darom continues.
